Time to Celebrate
Do you know what week it is?
Children’s Book Week—“the annual celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading.” And while this may be a departure from our usual celebrations concerning cephalopods, sharks, and other intriguing creatures, we are just as pleased to celebrate something we are equally passionate about: books!
Maybe take a deep sea adventure and dive into Project Seahorse travel to Africa with Chasing Cheetahs and The Elephant Scientist, blast off with The Mighty Mars Rovers, or stay a little closer to home and learn about sustainable ways we can protect our beautiful Earth by Tracking Trash and catching The Next Wave.
No matter what you decide to read, get out there and get reading. And make sure to visit the Children’s Book Week website to discover what bookish events may be happening near you.
Happy Reading!
